A century of Ayurvedic practice in Udaipur
Attar Pharmaceuticals was founded more than 100 years ago by Late Vaidraj Shri Bhanwar Lal Ji Attar. Four generations later, the house still prepares Ayurvedic and Unani medicines at 80, Inside Hathipole.
The founder
Late Vaidraj Shri Bhanwar Lal Ji Attar was known for careful diagnosis and for formulas built on Ayurvedic principles. What started as his own practice became a manufacturing house the region came to trust.
The family did not turn that into a slogan. They kept making the medicines, labelling them clearly, and standing behind the pack.
What is made today
The range is organised the way the shop already presents it:
- Patent products — syrups and tablets formulated for everyday complaints, sold in stated pack sizes.
- Classical products — churnas and traditional preparations, weighed and named on the label.
- Herbal juices — ras preparations such as Triphala, Amla, and Aloe Vera.
Modern packing sits on top of that older practice: patient-facing instructions, a visible pack size, and a phone number if the order is wrong.
